Peaceful Worldschoolers are committed to cultivating a peaceful world beginning in our own hearts and homes. Worldschooling can be simply defined as “the world is our school.” It comes from the philosophy that the best learning is the kind that happens outside of the four walls of a traditional classroom. Instead, we view the world as our biggest and best classroom and the people in it as our greatest teachers. With minimal structure worldschooling allows the creativity of the child’s wide open subconscious to guide them in exploration of the great expanse they have before them.

Whether we are traveling to a country on the other side of the world or to the woods in our backyards, there is something to be learned from every place and from every person we encounter along the way.

Worldschooling is a mentality as much as it is a lifestyle. Some families choose to worldschool part-time by making an effort to travel and explore during the summers or on the weekends.

Other families choose to worldschool full time – leaving behind the comforts and conveniences of their homes in order to travel and live abroad for several months or even years.

Some children attend a brick and mortar school while other families choose to homeschool or even unschool.

Some parents look for traditional jobs in a new country while other parents opt to work remotely or even take extended periods of leave in order to travel and explore.

There is no right or wrong way to worldschool, and every family has the freedom to find the way that works best for them. The beautiful thing is that we have the opportunity to try something new, and if it doesn’t work, then we can make a change. However, by being willing to take the risk and do something that you’ve never done before, you may find the life that you never knew you wanted.

You can have it all.

No, really.

YOU ✰ CAN ✰ HAVE ✰ IT ✰ ALL!
